SSA 27 Rebate programs
Businesses and residents located within Lakeview Special Service Area (SSA) 27 may be eligible to receive financial assistance in the form of rebates for making investments in security infrastructure, marketing efforts, and other enhancements that benefit Lakeview’s commercial corridors.
Security REbate
The goal of the Security Rebate Program is to improve the overall security of West Lakeview within SSA 27 by providing incentives in the form of rebates to property owners and tenants who have purchased and installed, or upgraded, security camera systems, exterior lighting, secure window improvements, and secure entry improvements,
Applicants that meet all Program requirements outlined in this application may receive a rebate of up to 50% of eligible costs, not to exceed a total of $2,500 per project.
Facade REbate
The goal of the Façade Rebate Program is to beautify and vitalize the SSA district, attract and retain local small businesses, enhance the streetscape, and provide design guidelines that enhance the character and qualities of the district by providing incentives in the form of rebates to property owners who install or repair permanent façade elements, such as anti-graffiti wall coatings, awnings, disabled access improvements, doors, exterior lighting, masonry, permanent murals and signage, public-way facing parking lot improvements, tuck-pointing, and windows.
Applicants that meet all Program requirements outlined in this application may receive a rebate of up to 50% of eligible costs, not to exceed a total of $7,500. Facade Rebate must be applied for and approved before any construction may commence.
