Unless otherwise specified, SSA 27 Commission meetings will be held at Sheil Park Floor 2 Room E, located at 3505 N Southport Ave. All meetings are open to the public.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
A Special Virtual SSA Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, May 29th at 8:30 AM, and will be held via Zoom. This meeting will pertain primarily to 2026 Budget Brainstorming, and no motions will be held at this meeting due to it being virtual. The June SSA Meeting, originally scheduled for Thursday, June 12th, has been moved up one week to Thursday, June 5th. The meeting will take place at 8:30 AM at Sheil Park Floor 2 Room E, located at 3505 N Southport Ave.

Event grants
task force
The Community Events & Placemaking Grants Task Force is responsible for reviewing applications submitted by organizations or individuals who are interested in planning events and public programming within the SSA, and determining whether to fund or provide technical support for projects that meet the SSA’s goals to create memorable experiences and promote the neighborhood.
